Privacy Policy

Clear answers, purchase information and support for your AX Tech Co experience.

Last updated: 22 October 2026 · Policy version: 2026-10-22.1

Business details: AX Tech Co. ABN: 38 959 238 667. Contact: sab@axtechco.com.

This policy explains how AX Tech Co handles personal information when you visit www.axtechco.com, contact us or place an order. Privacy enquiries and requests can be sent to sab@axtechco.com.

Information collected

We collect information you provide, including your name, email address, contact details, billing or delivery details where needed, order choices, personalisation brief, reference uploads and messages. A brief may include names, dates, preferences or images of other people. Please supply only what is necessary for the project.

Our Shopify storefront and its service providers also process technical and transaction information, such as your device and browser information, IP address, cookies, pages visited, cart activity, order history and payment status. Payment information is processed by the payment provider selected at checkout. Do not send full card details to us by email or through a form.

How we use information

We use information to process payments and orders, make personalised work, send previews and finished files, arrange agreed services, answer enquiries, resolve problems, maintain business records and protect the store against fraud or misuse. We also use relevant store activity to understand and improve the shopping experience.

If you subscribe or otherwise agree to receive marketing, we use your contact details for those messages. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or contact us. Unsubscribing does not stop necessary messages about an existing order.

Shopify and other service providers

Shopify hosts our store and processes information needed to operate it. Payment processors, email and file-delivery services, and service providers involved in an agreed project may also process relevant information to provide their services. We limit what we share to what is reasonably needed for the purpose.

Shopify may process customer information for platform services, including fraud prevention and, where enabled, enhanced or personalised services using Shopify Network Intelligence. Details of Shopify's own processing and available privacy choices are in Shopify's Privacy Policy and Shopify's Privacy Portal.

We may disclose information where required by law, to address fraud or security incidents, or to obtain professional advice necessary to manage the business. We do not sell customer-uploaded reference images or personalisation briefs.

Physical orders and support requests

We use the contact details, order reference, product information, fault description and supporting material you provide to respond to support requests and assess returns. Where necessary to fulfil a physical order, we share relevant delivery details with delivery or fulfilment providers. Where necessary to assess or resolve a Fantech product claim, we may share relevant purchase details, product information and evidence with Fantech or its distributor. We limit this to information reasonably needed for the request. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or unrelated personal information. If you share an evidence link, restrict it to the files needed and provide access only for assessment.

Personalised work and AI-assisted tools

Creative work may use AI-assisted tools. Before sending identifiable customer material to a separate creative provider, we will explain the proposed sharing and obtain any necessary permission. Contact us before ordering if you need a project completed without identifiable material being processed by such tools. We will confirm whether that requirement can be met before proceeding.

Only upload references you have permission to supply and use. Obtain permission from the people shown or named, and appropriate parent or guardian permission for a child. Do not upload health information, identity documents, financial records, passwords, intimate images or other sensitive or confidential material through the product form.

We will seek separate permission before using an identifiable customer project in our portfolio or marketing. Placing an order alone does not give that permission.

Uploads and file links

Product-form uploads are stored through Shopify and linked to the order. An upload link may be accessible to anyone who has that link; it is not a private document vault. Do not use these uploads for confidential material, and avoid sharing their links publicly. Contact us before supplying material that needs a more restricted transfer method.

We send previews and finished files to the email address used for your order or another address agreed with you. Check that address carefully and protect your email account and any delivery links. Let us know promptly if information or a file was sent to the wrong address.

Cookies and privacy choices

Cookies and similar technologies support the cart, checkout, security, preferences and store measurement. Where optional analytics or advertising tools are enabled, they may use these technologies subject to the available consent settings and applicable law. If the store presents a cookie banner or privacy-choice control, use it to manage the choices offered to you.

You can also manage cookies in your browser, although blocking necessary cookies may affect shopping or checkout. For questions about store tracking or to request an available opt-out, email sab@axtechco.com. Shopify's Privacy Portal provides choices relating to Shopify's processing.

Storage, overseas processing and security

Information may be stored or processed outside Australia by Shopify and other providers. The locations depend on the provider and service involved. Contact us if you need information about a proposed provider before submitting personal material.

We take reasonable steps to protect information and restrict access to people and services that need it for the stated purpose. No online system, email service or file link can be guaranteed completely secure. Please contact us promptly if you suspect a privacy or security issue.

Retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to complete work, support orders, handle disputes and meet accounting or other legal obligations. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, subject to provider storage and backup arrangements. Order records may need to be kept even where other customer information is removed.

You can ask us to remove an uploaded reference or other information that is no longer needed. We will explain any lawful reason it must be retained and any practical limitations on deletion. We do not promise immediate deletion from every provider backup.

Access, correction and complaints

Email sab@axtechco.com to request access, correction or deletion, withdraw an optional consent, or raise a privacy concern. Include enough information to identify the relevant order or enquiry, without sending passwords or unnecessary sensitive documents. We may need to verify your identity before providing or changing information.

We will assess your request and explain the outcome, including any applicable legal or technical limits. If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may contact the relevant privacy regulator, including the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where it has jurisdiction.

Policy updates

We may update this policy when our services or information-handling practices change. The current version and update date are shown on this page. Where a material change requires notice or consent, we will provide that before applying it.
